Straight from Sweden, coming to Hinte just for you: the co-headliner, SARCATOR!
And with that, the lineup for 2026 is complete!
The Swedish black/thrash metal band Sarcator was founded in 2018 by singer and guitarist Mateo Tervonen, bassist Felix Lindkvist, and drummer Jesper Rosén.
Emil Eriksson joined the band the following year as the second guitarist.
In 2019, when they were between the ages of 14 and 20, they released their first demo cassette, “Visions of Purgatory,” on the American label Redefining Darkness Records.
A year later, their self-titled death-thrash debut album was released on the same label and was nominated for the P3 Guld Award in the “Best Rock/Metal Album” category.
Their second album, *Alkahest*, took a more experimental approach and incorporated influences from dark rock, post-punk, and other genres into their sound. It was released on November 4, 2022, via the Swedish label Black Lion Records.
After the pandemic, the band resumed performing live. They played at festivals and in clubs, showcasing their two albums, which together create a very intense, dark, and aggressive atmosphere.
In the winter of 2023, the band went into the studio to record their third album. It was the last album on which former guitarist Emil Eriksson appeared. At the end of May 2024, Leo Buchalle was introduced as the band’s new guitarist.
And now the big show is coming to the stage in Hinte!
