HELLRIPPER – Speed/Thrash/Black Metal from Scotland!
Crowned by Metal Hammer and “Scotland’s King of the Arkane Mosh”, Hellripper aims to embody the epitome of the Black ’n’ Roll sound and combine influences of classic Black Metal albums of the 80s with a modern touch.
Heavily inspired by witchcraft and the supernatural, Hellripper is deeply rooted in his Scottish heritage, using the landscape, legends, and historical events as a backdrop for his lyrics and visuals. Hellripper is fast, loud, and uncompromising.
Hellripper is a one-man project and is augmented LIVE with guest musicians, similar to the East Frisians of Slaughterday.
Hellripper was founded by James McBain in the Scottish Highlands.
With the release of their debut EP "The Manifestation of Evil" in early 2015, the band made their message clear: Total Mayhem!
The band signed with Century Media Records in 2025 and their fourth album, “CORONACH”, is expected to be released in March 2026.
