Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1999 haben Battlesword das Banner des Melodic Death Metal hochgehalten.
Mit einer Mischung aus kraftvollen Melodien und aggressiven Riffs hat sich die Band einen soliden Platz in der Szene erarbeitet.
Live sind Battlesword national sowie international vertreten.
In 2024, the band celebrated its 25th anniversary – old hands who know how it's done.
